Effective Committees

The work of the board is accomplished at the committee level.  But how many committees should an organization have and which committees are essential?  How many committees should a director be expected to serve on?

The Workshop

This 2.5 hour session will help your board become much more effective, efficient and meaningful.

First, we will discuss the structure of your organization and which committees every board should have.

Then, an audit will be conducted of your current committees and task forces to determine which you will keep and which should be directed elsewhere.

We will align your committees and task forces with your organization’s strategic plan, ensuring that each has a clear mandate.

Finally, terms of reference will be drafted for each committee and task force, setting each up for continuous success.
